Parenting, families and teens

Becoming a parent is one of the most wonderful and stressful events of our lives, and brings many challenges with it.

Dr. Clark pointing to a chart showing anxiety and depression as the number one concern among teens

Parenting

Whether your kids are in diapers or in college, their needs, and how well you think you are meeting them, can keep you up at night. To be a healthy parent you have to keep a balanced perspective and learn to manage your children’s needs alongside your own.

We are big believers in putting your own oxygen mask on first, and we can teach you how, so you can be the parent you want to be.

Families and teens

In family therapy the emphasis is on improving communication and understanding the patterns that keep a family stuck, so conflicts can be understood and reshaped.

We also see adolescents and young adults individually. Dr. Clark speaks often about anxious teens and about how to talk to your kids about anxiety.
