Welcome
Helping people create happier, more balanced lives
Anxiety defines so much of life these days, be it embarrassing panic, non-stop worry, or subtle nagging discontent. As licensed psychologists in Washington DC, we help people work more constructively with anxiety and avoid the patterns holding them back, so they can face life’s challenges with more confidence and joy. Helping people create happier and more balanced lives is at the heart of what we do.
When it comes to our philosophy of healing, we believe in four broad tenets:
Courage
It is with courage that we face our fears, stretch towards growth, and build confidence and self-esteem.
Choice
The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. ~ William James
Momentum
Momentum takes hold when steps are so small that resistance is fooled.
Joy
Vulnerability and empathy are the foundation of all relationships – they pave the way for intimacy and joy.
